The Ballerina Blush Tallit is beautifully and uniquely handcrafted from delicate net lace. This tallit is made from a soft peachy-pink lace, with matching scalloped edge lace. The atarah (neckband) and bottom edges feature a natural woven lace with the same scalloped edging, embroidered with a simple cross-hatch pattern, offset by a gold-toned metal charm at each end.
I use only Rabbinically-approved tzitzit strings from Israel. The tzitzit at all four corners of this tallit are hand-tied according to halakhah (Jewish law) in the Ashkenazi pattern (reminding us of the 613 mitzvot).
This tallit measures approximately 66" in length (not including the tzitzit). This is a perfect fit for a petite woman or teen. If you need a longer length please message me after purchase (simply use the contact tab below).
To substitute a dupioni silk atarah (instead of the ribbon atarah shown), embroidered with the tzitzit blessing, there is a $50 materials & embroidery fee (an option at checkout).
Please remember that each item is handmade to order, so you'll need to allow three to four weeks for your artisan creation (not including transit time). If you are in a hurry, please contact me in advance, as I may be able to accommodate (an additional rush fee may apply). Individual fabrics, laces and trims may vary slightly, according to availability. Each tallit is one-of-a-kind, but will faithfully reflect the same colors and types of materials used.
A coordinating dupioni silk tallit bag (with matching trim) is available as an add-on for $35 (option at checkout).
